ABOUT US

My name is Patrick Miller, and I’m the founder of Endure For:

A movement built on pain, purpose, and perseverance.

In August 2024, I lost my mother. Before her passing, endurance sports were my new-found outlet. They gave me structure, strength, and purpose. I had completed a half Ironman, a 10-mile trail run, and a 36 hour team ruck across Cape Cod. Each challenge pushed my limits and shaped me both physically and mentally throughout my weight loss journey.

But after losing my mom, everything changed. Grief hit hard, and life added more challenges. With nothing to blame but myself, it felt like I had been knocked back to square one after all the work I’d done to rebuild myself.

Through all of it, one feeling stayed with me....regret. After that 36 hour ruck, my mom waited at the finish line, cheering me on despite her own pain. She wanted to celebrate, to go to lunch with the family. But I was exhausted. I told her I just wanted to rest, and went home instead. She was going through the toughest battle of her life and all I did was run 3 mile intervals every few hours with a team for 36 hours. Was I really that tired where I couldn't get lunch with a person who meant so much to me? Someone that I didn't have much time left with on this earth?

That moment has never left me.

That regret became my why.

It became Endure For:

WHAT WE STAND FOR

Endure For: isn’t just a charity. It’s a mindset.

It’s a reminder that when life gets hard, we don’t quit. We push through. We endure for something, or someone, bigger than ourselves.

This movement is for everyone, no matter where you are in your fitness journey. It’s about testing your limits, strengthening your body and mind, and doing good for others along the way. Because when training gets tough, when the pain sets in, and the urge to quit gets loud, that’s when we tell ourselves:

This is nothing compared to what they went through or are going through…

I created Endure For: to honor my mother, to rebuild myself, and to help others find strength through struggle.

Because sometimes, the hardest battles create the strongest people.

So.....who will you Endure For?

OUR GOAL

With Endure For: the goal is simple. To help where we can, and to make a difference in the moments that matter most.

What started as a personal mission to find purpose through endurance has grown into a community-driven movement. Our vision is to harness the power of fitness, perseverance, and connection to raise awareness and funds for people and organizations that truly change lives.

We’ll start by hosting endurance-based fitness challenges. Events that unite people to test their limits while supporting meaningful causes. These challenges serve as a powerful reminder that we can always push through, especially when we’re doing it for someone else.

As we grow, we plan to build what we call “The Pot."

A collective fund powered by donations from our challenges. This fund won’t just support big organizations; it will help with the small things that often mean the most:

  • A week of groceries for a family overwhelmed by medical bills,

  • A ride to a doctor’s appointment,

  • A warm dinner that brings loved ones together,

  • etc.

Because when people are struggling, it’s the small acts of kindness that make the biggest difference.

That’s what Endure For: is all about; using strength, compassion, and community to make life a little bit easier for those who need it most.

If any charity or organizations are interested in collaborating, we’d love to partner on a fitness challenge or awareness event to spread our message:

the more we help, the more we can all do.

ABOUT TOMMY'S PLACE

For 2026, Endure For: is proud to dedicate its fundraising efforts to Tommy’s Place.

Tommy's Place is a charity that perfectly reflects our mission.

Tommy’s Place owns and operates two magical, year-round vacation homes on Cape Cod. One in Falmouth and the other in Centerville, designed specifically for children battling cancer and their families. Each home features more than ten bedrooms and is filled with joy around every corner: inground swimming pools, game rooms, movie theaters, arts and crafts studios, and so much more.

Since opening its first home in July 2021, Tommy’s Place has welcomed over 300 families, offering hope, fun, and comfort to kids who need it most. In 2024, the organization expanded to serve 104 families each year, partnering with 11 children’s hospitals across New England. Each family is selected through a lottery system and includes children aged 3–17 who are actively receiving treatment for pediatric cancer.

WHY TOMMY'S PLACE

Choosing Tommy’s Place as our first charity partner was deeply personal.

My mother was a teacher who dedicated her life to helping children learn, grow, and believe in themselves. She had a heart for every kid she met, especially those facing challenges.

Supporting Tommy’s Place is a way to honor her spirit of compassion and her love for children. It represents everything Endure For: stands for - hope, resilience, and finding strength in the moments that test us most.

By raising funds for Tommy’s Place, we’re not just helping provide vacations. We’re helping families create memories, find joy in hardship, and experience a little bit of magic when they need it most.

Because sometimes it isn’t about crossing a finish line it’s about helping someone else find the strength to keep going along the way.
